Post 7: Changes to my study programme

My curriculum involves a lot of science, I have courses in basic and advanced mathematics, physics, biology, pharmacology and a lot of chemistry. There is one improvement that can be made to the syllabus and that is to remove the electromagnetism course because it is a subject that does not relate to any other course (it only has a very little relation to cell Physiology) and I think it is just a filler course. The workload and the hours of dedication depend on how many subjects I have per semester, my ideal is to sign up for five or six subjects because if I take seven or eight I won't have much time for my hobbies. As for the faculty, the facade is really modern and beautiful, however, the building where the labs are located is very old and depressing to look at, even though I had a great time in the lab courses I had in the last two years. When I joined the university in 2020 the pandemic forced us to use technology a lot more and I took advantage of it, as I can take notes on m

Post 6: Time travel to the future

Imagen
I would enjoy visiting the USA in 2042, since it’s the most developed country in the world today. I imagine it would be a great place to live in the future if the racial and environmental iusses they have get solved, by 2042, I will be 41 years old and graduated from college, and hopefully married to my partner and ready to settle on a prosperous country. I would like to be able to work in a leading pharmaceutical company in that country, such as GSK, Novartis or J&J. It is unfortunate how big businessmen have tarnished the name of the pharmaceutical sector and the science that goes with it. Just for their personal ambition to make more money and evade taxes. I hope that for the future, the US government will intervene in a fair way in these corruption cases and its laws will be changed in a tougher way for malicious businessmen. The opioid epidemic is already regrettable, so I hope that in the future it will be eradicated and to re-establish a relationship of trust between pharmac

POST 5: My future job

Imagen
The chemistry and pharmacy degree offers a wide field of work: it can be in offices, laboratories, pharmacies, hospitals, etc.  When I graduate, I might not get my dream job right away, so in the first 2-3 years I would like to gain experience in any area. So far, my ideal job would be a pharmaceutical sales/marketing agent or in the production area of an internationally recognised laboratory.  I just hope it will allow me to have a good holiday and travel during the year, as I like it very much. Also, if I can do some business travel or training even better, I really enjoy interacting with other people and cultures, so I would learn both professionally and personally. (And I could also go sightseeing haha). I haven't thought about a specific speciality yet, but I am very interested in the area of veterinary drugs, vaccines and sports supplements. So, if I take a speciality course I might do some research on one of these subjects. I have also thought about the possibility of studyi

POST 4: Childhood Series

Imagen
In my childhood I watched all the children's series. When I was around 5-7 years old, before going to school, I had breakfast watching "Mickey Mouse House" or "Brandy and Mr. Moustache".  And in the afternoons, after homework, I would watch "Scooby doo". I was always curious what a Scooby biscuit would taste like, plus who wouldn't have liked to have a big dog that solved mysteries and was funny like Scooby doo haha. When I had to accompany my parents to work or on a trip, my dad would bring a portable dvd player for me to watch the series we had on CD's like "The Pink Panther" and "The Simpsons". I always enjoyed that the inspector never caught the Pink Panther and Bart was always up to mischief.   Between the ages of 7-10, when I got out of school I would watch Hannah Montana, I was a big fan of the show, I laughed a lot, I knew all the songs and I asked my parents to take me to see her movie, which I enjoyed very much.

The other angels is a golden retriever named Amira and a Shith-zu named Eddie (this name because my father love Iron Maiden´s Pet).   All they arrived to my life because my parents loves dogs, first   purchased one, then other and other... Anyway, Miley is very affectionate, she likes to hand over his paw and run, but we must hide the potatoes and flowers because she eats them. Morita is very inactive, she sleeping all day and annoying when I am in class. And Cody is very quiet, but he wants to eat all day hahah. They are very important in my life, because they give me joy, laughter, tranquility and a lot of love.
